Moisture

A theoretical computation from Construction Technologies Lab (CTL) estimates the moisture permeability of our 12 inch panel between 0.37 and 0.51 perms. This puts the performance of our panel between that of a vapor retarder and a vapor barrier.

Water Outside

A) Rain and snow runoff naturally finds its way to a building’s foundation. Walls built on a grade have a joint where they are anchored to the foundation wall. This can allow water to penetrate the structure.

B) Because Fabcon panels extend beneath the grade, they provide better insulation and no opportunity for water to seep inside, and so reduce moisture and air refiltration. In addition, floors are warmer.
