Fabcon, a leading precast concrete wall producer, announced that home improvement retailer, Lowe's, and movie theater chain, Kerasotes Theaters, will use Fabcon's patented VersaCore Plus? wall panels for three new facilities in Canada, Illinois and New York. Lowe's will use over 115,000 square feet of VersaCore Plus precast concrete panels for two new stores in Hamilton, Ontario, and Herkimer, N.Y. Both buildings feature a steel form finish. Hurford Architects will use nearly 100,000 square feet of VersaCore Plus concrete panels for a new Kerasotes movie theater in Chicago, Ill. The theater will feature 14 screens and seat more than 2,700 people. Erection of the steel form finish panels began in late October. Fabcon provides architects, engineers and building owners with precast wall panels that deliver premium thermal efficiency, structural integrity and design flexibility.
