Press ReleasesFabcon Promotes Jeffrey Prewitt To Vice President Of Corporate Field Operations, Hires New StaffFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- June 12, 2007 Stephen Maass and Tracy Engstrand also join Savage, Minn.-based Fabcon Leading precast concrete panel manufacturer, Fabcon, today announced the promotion of Jeffrey Prewitt from general manager of its Indiana facility to vice president of corporate field operations. The company also hired Stephen Maass as director of estimating and Tracy Engstrand as director of human resources. Prewitt, Maass and Engstrand are employed at Fabcon's Savage, Minn. facility. "Jeffrey, Stephen and Tracy bring experience and commitment that will help fulfill our promise to provide superior service to our customers," said Mike Le Jeune, president and CEO, Fabcon. In Prewitt's eight years with Fabcon, he has served as project manager and regional manager of Fabcon's Indiana facility, and as general manager of the Indiana and Ohio facilities. In his previous positions, Prewitt was responsible for direct management of the plant, field and project management groups at the respective locations. His new responsibilities include the continued development of Fabcon's corporate field operations department, with a focus on safety, customer service and financial success. He holds a bachelor's degree in communications from Ball State University in Muncie, Ind. Maass began at Fabcon in 1995 as an estimator trainee and progressed to estimating manager and marketing manager before he left in October 2000. Since then, he has completed his master's degree in organizational management at Concordia University and held management positions at Travelers Express, Jostens, Capella University and President Homes. His new responsibilities include overseeing the training of estimating department personnel, and maintaining and creating estimating procedures. Maass also holds an A.A.S. in architectural drafting and estimating from Dunwoody College of Technology and a bachelor's degree in marketing management from Concordia University. Engstrand has more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience, most recently at BASF Building Systems in Shakopee, Minn. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology and an MBA from the University of Minnesota. He is currently pursing a degree in organization development from the University of St. Thomas. Engstrand also is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
