FABCON COMPLETES TWENTIETH PROJECT WITH KERASOTES SHOWPLACE THEATRES

SAVAGE, Minn., Sept. 15, 2004 ? Fabcon, a leading precast concrete wall panel producer, today announced the completion of a 14-screen theater complex in New Lenox, Ill., representing Fabcon's twentieth project with Illinois-based Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatres. Aided by Fabcon's scheduling flexibility, Kerasotes has consistently met key opening dates for new theaters, relying on Fabcon to help shave three weeks or more off of construction schedules. Improved schedules across a range of theater construction projects have enabled Kerasotes to generate revenue earlier than planned ? particularly during key summer and holiday blockbuster movie release seasons.

Open since May 2004, the New Lenox Kerasotes ShowPlace Theatre features 41,456 square feet of Fabcon's six-inch VersaCore panels on the interior and 35,059 square feet of Fabcon's 12-inch VersaCore panels on the exterior. The state-of-the-art multiplex was completed on schedule, despite a delayed start that pushed construction into the winter months. The New Lenox Theatre offers patrons wall-to-wall curved screens, digital sound in every auditorium, stadium seating, and a multipurpose event room for parties and meetings.

"We started supplying walls separating each auditorium in 2000 and have been the exclusive supplier for both exterior and interior walls ever since.
