FABCON APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF SAFETY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- January 3, 2006


SAVAGE, Minn. ? Jan. 3, 2006 ? Leading precast concrete wall manufacturer, Fabcon, recently appointed Tom Wainscott as director of safety. Wainscott previously served as director of safety at API Construction in St. Paul. He began his new role at Fabcon's Savage, Minn., headquarters in October 2005.


"Tom brings significant construction safety experience, successful business management expertise, and a strong desire to ensure safe production and installation of our wall panels," said Mike Le Jeune, president, CEO, Fabcon. "These attributes will allow him to quickly take full responsibility of our safety program and oversee Fabcon's high standards for safety."


As director of safety, Wainscott will be responsible for providing the overall direction for Fabcon's safety program. In his previous role at API, he was responsible for the development and leadership of the company's safety initiatives for 10 years. He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, National Safety Council and Associated General Contractors. Wainscott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in safety management from Central Missouri State University.
