FABCON ANNOUNCES YEAR?S TOP PRECAST CONCRETE FINISHES

SAVAGE, Minn. ? Feb. 4, 2004 ? Precast concrete manufacturer Fabcon today announced its top-selling precast concrete finishes for 2003. According to orders shipped and installed from Fabcon's facilities in Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota and Pennsylvania, last year's most popular finish was steel form, representing 24 percent of total orders. Steel form is a flat, smooth finish that can be painted. Another leading finish is exposed aggregate, with a variety of profiles ? 21 percent with banding.

Fabcon currently provides 24 finishes, plus custom finish options, that can be mixed and matched with 22 aggregate designs for commercial construction projects throughout the Midwest and Eastern United States. Fabcon's precast panels offer contractors and architects a wide range of aesthetic options that fit with shortened construction schedules.
