FABCON PROMOTES PERSONNEL IN SAVAGE, MINN. FACILITY

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- February 11, 2004


SAVAGE, Minn. ? Feb. 11, 2004 ? Leading precast concrete panel manufacturer, Fabcon, today announced the promotions of Joe Buchholz from sales engineer to regional manager, Tom Kuckhahn from director of engineering to vice president of engineering, and Richard Wesen from vice president of operations to senior vice president of operations. Buchholz, Kuckhahn and Wesen are employed at the Savage, Minn., facility.


"The recent promotions of Buchholz, Kuckhahn and Wesen demonstrate the commitment we make to provide top-notch service for our customers," said Mike Le Jeune, president, CEO, Fabcon. "I'm certain that these employees will continue to make positive contributions to all four of Fabcon's facilities."


In Buchholz's 11 years with Fabcon, he has served as field coordinator and senior project manager. In his previous position, Buchholz was responsible for Minnesota, Nebraska and Missouri sales. His new responsibilities will include project, field and yard management. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.


Kuckhahn has been with Fabcon for nine years. He has previously served as design engineer, field quality assurance manager and research and development manager. In his new role, Kuckhahn is responsible for managing the engineering department for all Fabcon facilities, research and development and field quality assurance. Kuckhahn has been a professional engineer since 1999, is an active member of the Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) Sandwich Panel Committee and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.


Wesen has served as project manager, general manager and regional vice president since he started with Fabcon in 1995. Since 2002, Wesen has managed operations for all Fabcon facilities. He has been an active member of the Precast Concrete Institute (PCI), serving on the committee that wrote the new PCI MNL 127-99 erector's manual.
